The Ghat Curve borrows its profile from stepped riverbanks: broad, flat planes that narrow as they descend. From the top of the wrist it reads as a wide sculptural band; underneath, it thins to almost nothing, which is why it weighs 24 g instead of the 60 the front view suggests. The opening sits at the narrow underside where nobody sees it.
The design started as a section drawing — not of jewellery, but of steps meeting water, the kind you find along old rivers. Flattened, curved, and wrapped around a wrist, the geometry survived the translation.
